Kansas Physical Therapy Partners Special Therapies Open House
Kansas Physical Therapy Partners (KPTP) will hold an open house on Saturday, February 8th from 9:00AM-3:00PM at our clinic at 405 E. Iron Avenue in Salina with discounted trials of specialized physical therapy treatments as a fundraiser for our yearly medical mission to Peru.
The treatments offered at the upcoming open house are often used in conjunction with typical physical therapy at Kansas PT Partners. Those are Dry Needling therapy and Deep Tissue Laser therapy.
Dry Needling is a technique that physical therapists use to help treat musculoskeletal pain and movement issues. During this treatment, a provider inserts thin, sharp needles through your skin to treat underlying trigger points. When dry needling is applied to your muscles and tissues, it can decrease tightness, increase blood flow and reduce local and referred pain.
Deep Tissue Laser therapy is also used in conjunction with typical physical therapy exercises to help alleviate pain and movement issues. It is a quick non-invasive treatment that uses laser energy to reduce pain and inflammation and promote healing. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, sports injuries, and post-surgery rehabilitation
