Salina Man Arrested After Domestic Violence Incident
Police arrested a 30-year-old Salina man following a domestic violence incident that occurred late on October 23 in the 300 block of South Fourth Street.
Officers responded around 10:45 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance. According to police, 30-year-old Nalo Bishop allegedly struck a 42-year-old female victim with a CD player, causing a scratch and bruising near her eye. He is also accused of pushing her to the ground and strangling her during the altercation.
Bishop was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. The victim did not receive medical treatment at the scene, and it is unclear if she sought care later. Police said the two individuals are acquaintances who live at the same residence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
