Man Arrested for Trespassing and Drug Charges Near North Chicago and Elm Streets
Salina Police arrested a man on multiple charges following a trespassing incident midday Friday near the intersection of North Chicago and Elm Streets.
Officers were called to an industrial property near the railroad tracks after the owner reported several homeless individuals occupying the area, which contains trailers and large Conex storage boxes. The owner had been attempting to prevent continued trespassing on the property.
Police made contact with 58-year-old David Mullins, who had previously been trespassed from the location. Mullins was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.
The investigation is ongoing.
