Police Investigating Burglary at Casey’s on East Iron

Salina Police are investigating a burglary at Casey’s General Store, 1100 East Iron, that occurred early Monday around 2:50 a.m.

An employee arriving for work discovered the front door unlocked, and the alarm activated upon entry. Cash and a large quantity of coins—totaling several thousand dollars—were stolen from the safe. Coins were later recovered from a trash can outside the business.

Video surveillance is being reviewed.The suspect may have known the alarm code and how to access the safe, suggesting possible inside knowledge. The investigation has strong leads, but no arrests have been made.
