Juvenile Injured in UTV Rollover on South Donmyer Road

On November 12 at 4:49 p.m., the Saline County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 2700 block of South Donmyer Road for a report of a rollover crash involving a UTV. While units were en route, dispatch advised that the injured individual was now located in the 6400 block of Magnolia Road.

Deputies determined that two juvenile males had been traveling northbound on South Donmyer Road in a Kubota RTV520 UTV. As they attempted to turn into a private drive, the UTV rolled, coming to rest on the passenger.

Following the crash, the injured passenger contacted his father, who responded to the scene and transported him in a private vehicle toward Salina Regional Health Center. Salina EMS met them in the 6400 block of Magnolia Road. The juvenile sustained an ankle injury that may require surgery.

No traffic citations were issued due to the driver’s age. The case remains under investigation.
