Pavement Crack Sealing Work Scheduled for Multiple Salina Streets

Circle C Paving & Construction of Goddard, Kansas will perform pavement crack sealing work on multiple streets in Salina from Monday, November 17, through Friday, November 21, weather permitting.

The following streets are scheduled for crack sealing:

• Franklin from Hancock to Custer

• Kirwin from Rush to Pershing

• Kirwin from Roach to East End

• Sunset Dr

•Wilson from Front to Kenison

• Morningside from Front to Kenison

• Martin from Sunrise to Roach

• Pearl from Martin to Republic

• Beatrice from McAdams to Republic

• Ellsworth from Norton to Lewis

• Russell

Work will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Access to properties within work zones will be maintained at all times. "Road Work Ahead" signs will be placed in advance of work zones, and temporary single-lane closures are expected. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution when approaching work zones for the safety of crews.

The annual crack and joint sealing program is a cost-effective preventive maintenance component of the City of Salina's street repair program.

The Department of Public Works strives to seal each asphalt street in Salina at least once every seven years.

This work is part of the City of Salina's 2025 Crack Seal annual maintenance project, which began in February and is fully funded at a total cost of $486,000.
