Valmont Reports Early-Morning Burglary; Suspect Flees With Company Truck and Trailer

Around 6:00 AM on November 23, 2025, officers responded to a reported burglary at Valmont, located at 1100 N. Ohio. Employees arriving for work discovered that the business had been entered earlier in the morning.

Security review indicated that at approximately 3:00 AM, a masked suspect entered the building without forced entry. The individual gathered tools and assorted items, loading them into a company vehicle—a white Ford F-150—along with a black metal-and-wood trailer equipped with a welder. The suspect then left the area with the stolen vehicle and trailer.

Investigators believe the pickup may be displaying a Nebraska license plate. Valmont is continuing to assess the full inventory loss; current estimated loss is $22,500.

The case remains under investigation by the Salina Police Department.
