Suspects Steal Cash from Two Salina ATMs Using “Jackpotting” Method
On November 24, 2025, around 10:30 AM, officers responded to Bennington State Bank regarding a reported “jackpotting” theft. Investigators learned that on the previous evening, November 23, at approximately 8:00 PM, suspect(s) gained access to the ATM at 2130 S. Ohio and stole an undisclosed amount of cash using an electronic jackpotting method.
The same suspects are believed to have targeted another Bennington State Bank ATM at 200 S. 9th Street around 1:00 AM, again successfully accessing the machine and obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects were operating a white Lincoln passenger car. A Kansas license plate displayed on the vehicle was later found to have been stolen between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on November 23 from a vehicle in the 100 block of S. Phillips.
Authorities believe this incident is connected to a similar jackpotting case later reported in Wamego, Kansas. The investigation is ongoing.
