Saline County Deputies Arrest Suspect After Early-Morning Burglary on South Woodward Road
Saline County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residential burglary at around 4:35 a.m. on December 2 in the 700 block of South Woodward Road.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the 64-year-old female resident awoke to noises inside her home and encountered an intruder, identified as 25-year-old Logan Krause of Solomon. When confronted and asked to identify himself, Krause reportedly stated his name but did not leave the residence.
The homeowner then secured herself in her bedroom and called out for her adult son, who was in the basement but he did not hear her.
Deputies arrived and located Krause in the basement. During the arrest, he was uncooperative and a Taser was used to take him into custody.
The sheriff's department said the victim does not know Krause, but he was able to enter the home through an unlocked door in the attached garage and took a key from the home before being arrested.
Krause was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, theft, and interference with a law enforcement officer. The case remains under investigation by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.
