Man Arrested After DUI Incident at Freddy’s Drive-Through
Salina police arrested a 48-year-old Salina man following an incident at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, located at 2420 South Ninth Street, on a Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated driver in the restaurant’s drive-through. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Eric C. Following the arrest, Lawson was transported by ambulance to the emergency room for medical evaluation. After being medically cleared, he was booked into jail.
Lawson was arrested on charges including:
•Driving under the influence
•Interference with law enforcement
•Driving while license suspended
•Contempt of court (warrant)
No injuries were reported during the incident. The case remains under investigation.
