The advisory covers portions of central and south-central Kansas, including Salina, Great Bend, Hutchinson, McPherson, Russell, Lincoln, Ellsworth, Sterling, Lyons, Wilson, Kingman, and Sylvan Grove.

Roads, bridges, and overpasses will likely become slick and hazardous. The Friday evening commute is expected to be particularly affected by dangerous driving conditions.
