Mill Inlay Work Continues
Drivers on Belmont Boulevard should expect minor delays next week as crews adjust manholes to match the street's newly paved surface.
APAC Shears of Salina will raise manhole lids along Belmont Boulevard between Magnolia Road and Roach Street from Monday, January 19, through Friday, January 23. The adjustments ensure the manholes align with the final elevation of the freshly paved street.
One lane of traffic will remain open throughout the work. Motorists should slow down and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
The manhole adjustments are part of the City of Salina's 2025 Mill and Inlay Project, an annual street maintenance program with a total cost of approximately $900,000.
