American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Offered at the Salina Family YMCA

The Salina Family YMCA is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course early next month for individuals interested in becoming certified lifeguards.

The comprehensive four-day training covers essential skills including water rescue techniques, first aid, CPR, and emergency response. Participants must pass a swim test at the start of the course to continue with the training.

Lifeguard certification is valuable for anyone looking to gain lifesaving knowledge, improve confidence in the water, or pursue aquatic leadership roles. Upon completion, participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate.

Class Schedule

 Thursday Feb. 5th 4-8 p.m.

 Friday Feb. 6th 1-9 p.m.

 Saturday Feb. 7th 9a-4 p.m.

 Sunday Feb. 8th 8a-5 p.m. (could end earlier)
