Michele Doreen Humphrey, 43, of Salina, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with family and friends by her side. She was born in Warren, Michigan, to George L. McNabb III and Deborah G. (Wisniewski) McNabb on April 20, 1982. She lived in Salina for most of her life.
Michele enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was passionate about cosmetology and tattoo artistry. Family was Michele's life, her cousins and aunts were her best friends.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah McNabb; brother, George (April) McNabb; five children, Derrick (Anne) Zwigart, Justin Zwigart, Tyler Witte, Nevaya Humphrey, and Mia Taylor; one granddaughter, Lyric; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Barbara J. Ausherman, 77, of Salina, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born in Abilene, KS to Roy and Helen (Mock) Koelling, on June 1, 1948. She attended school in Abilene. She earned her associate degree in technology from Kansas State University in 2003.
She worked at Westinghouse and later Phillips Lighting, where she retired. She was a member of the Red Hat Lady Club and Suma Kum Lade.
She is survived by her two children, Wade Hall and Anita Jackson (Eric); brother, Don Koelling; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Carolyn Farmer

Carolyn Farmer (Davis), 80, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born in Jefferson City, MO, on May 23, 1945, to William and Bunola (Dyer) Davis. She married Gary D. Farmer on March 29, 1968, in Salina.
Carolyn worked for Hi Quality, Ballou Construction, Exline Inc, Planters Bank, before becoming an insurance underwriter for Great Plains Insurance in 1977. She retired from Columbia Insurance Group in 2007.
Survivors include her husband, Gary, of the home; children, John and Jonette Farmer, Lucinda Farmer-Necaise, Chad and Cathy Farmer, Leslie and Matthew Waggoner; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lisa Engler of Topeka, KS.

Eleanor Mae Jones, 81, of Salina, passed away, Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born to the late James Henry Clay and Annie May Coleman McLaughin on September 25, 1944, in Pittsylvania County, Danville, Virginia.
Eleanor married Therman Jones on December 28, 1963, and from this union, God blessed them with 5 children. Throughout her life, Eleanor was known for her dedication to God, her family, friends and the community. She was a member of the Salina Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Eleanor's ministry was using her God given voice for her church, other churches, weddings, funerals, and anniversaries.
Eleanor is survived by her husband Therman, children Vincent (Alicia), Therman (Gerald), James, Jeffrey (Candy), Janetta Hamilton; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of extended family.

Jerald "Jerry" Russell Orchard

December 19, 1944 - January 29, 2026
Jerald Russell Orchard, "Jerry" to friends and family, 81, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on January 29, 2026. Jerry's life was filled with love and humor, and he always had a smile.
He and his twin brother, Richard, were born December 19, 1944, at the University of Iowa Hospital. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964, then immediately enlisted in the Air Force. Jerry served his country from 1964 to 1968 in the 865th Radar Squadron.
In 1970, Jerry married Lois Dieken, they met during a blind date at a friend's party. He worked for Morton Buildings for 25 years before driving a school bus for Durham School Services.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Lois Orchard; children, Dawn Middleton and Kim Orchard; brother, Jackson; grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.

Maralyn Eyler Williams

Maralyn Jean Eyler Williams of Salina passed away on January 23, 2026. Maralyn was born October 23, 1933, in Salina, Kansas. Maralyn's parents were Dr. George Kurtz Eyler and Evelyn Marie (Schmitt) Eyler.
Maralyn graduated from Salina High School and Kansas University. She obtained her Master's Degree from Kansas State University. Maralyn taught first grade for twenty-five years.
She was a member of Pi Lambda Theta, Alpha Delta Kappa (teacher's sorority), Pi Beta Phi, and Chapter ED of P.E.O. She was a proud member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include daughters Laura Murphy (Em), Lynne Rose (Scott), son Dr. Kurt Williams (Shaun), twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
