Today will be 20 to 25 degrees cooler than yesterday, with stout northerly wind gusts up to around 40 mph. Above average temperatures look to persist through the weekend, with increasing rain chances late Friday through Saturday night, especially over the southern half of Kansas. Above average temperatures will likely persist well into next week, with the potential for periodic windy conditions and associated elevated grassfire danger.
