Kevin C. Heigele

November 15, 1963 - February 6, 2026

Kevin C. Heigele, 62, of Salina, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Kevin was born on November 15, 1963, in Salina. Kevin was the son of Judy Noyes (DeLaney), Salina and Doug Heigele, Wichita, Kansas.

He is survived by his mother, father, sister Deborah Rothenberger (Steve) of Salina, 1 nephew and 2 nieces.

In accordance with Kevin's wishes, he was cremated.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 702 S 9th St, Salina, KS 67401, in honor of Kevin.

Susan Ann Englert

September 20, 1955 - February 7, 2026

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Susan Ann Englert, 70, of Salina, Kansas, passed away at home on February 7th, 2026.

Born in Peterborough, England on September 20, 1955, Susan grew up in the San Diego area, where she met her husband, Ed, before settling in Salina. She was a loving mother to her son and a devoted foster parent through OCCK. Her kindness extended beyond her family, always lending a listening ear to friends or a stranger she met at the thrift store. Professionally, Susan was a jack of all trades, working as a clerk at Kmart and Office Max, a dental assistant in 2009, a butcher, and a house cleaner before her retirement.

Anyone who knew her knew she loved the ocean. As a creative, she enjoyed crafting and sewing. But above all, Susan cherished her family, who brought her endless joy. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall.

She is preceded in death by her father Ralph C. Miesen; stepfather, Ben Goss; grandmother, Helen Hulshezer; sister-in-law, Esther McMurtrie; daughter-in-law, Paige Englert; and mother, Chris Waller.

Surviving family members include her husband of 47 years, Ed Englert; son, Tony Englert (Paige) of Salina, KS; grandson, Sean Englert (Ashley) and their children, Ariana and Kyler of Wichita, KS; grandson, Kyle Englert (Ashley) and their children, Azaria and Jakobi of Wichita, KS; granddaughter, Madison Englert of Austin, TX; sister, Tammy Leiker (John) of Ellis, KS; sister, Laura Arbogast (John) of Josephine, TX; brother, Rick Goss of Spokane, WA; in-laws, Carol Dindinger of Charles Town, WV; Karen and Paul Dexter of Trimble, MO; Vaughn McMurtrie of Hays, KS; Chris and Jeff Schlyer of Hays, KS; Kelly and Kelly Englert of Mansfield, TX; stepfather, Walt Waller of Ellis, KS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan’s legacy of love and compassion will be carried on through those who had the privilege to call her family or friend. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter will be forever remembered.

Friends and family are invited to Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, for visitation on Thursday February 12th from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present from 5-7, and a rosary recited at 7. A funeral service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1000 Burr Oak Lane, Salina, on Friday February 13th at 10 a.m.

Heidelinde "Heide" Tarin

September 19, 1956 - February 9, 2026

Heidelinde "Heide" Tarin, 69, of Salina, passed away Monday, February 9th, 2026.

Heide was born in Wurzburg, Germany on September 19, 1956, a daughter of the late Brunhilde (Guder) and Steve Garman.

She lived with a fun, gentle spirit and a kindness that never wavered. She helped anyone who needed her, and her door was always open to friends, family, and strangers alike.

Survivors include her two sons, Juanito Ymballa (Keri), of Minneapolis, Kansas, Tafaomaleuatogi Garman (Bonnie), of Salina, Kansas; and 10 grandchildren, Tafao Jr., Jarret, Jordan, Halia, Liana, Lane, Avery, Isabel, Wyatt, Emilia.

Heide is also survived by four sisters, Petra Craddock, of Salina, Kansas, Margrit Ballenger (Mark), of Centerville, Iowa, Hannelore Hemmy (Jerry), of Salina, Kansas, Paulette Guzman (Tony), of Maize, Kansas; two brothers, Steve Garman, of Salina, Kansas, and Alex Garman (Jennifer), of Lamar, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.

Heide’s wishes were to be cremated.

Linda Lou Norton

April 2, 1948 - February 8, 2026

Linda Lou Norton, 77, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born in Newton, Kansas, on April 2, 1948, to Bonnie Arlene (Grabill) and Warren Wade Carlton.

After graduating from high school, Linda worked for many years as a Medical Assistant in Salina. In her later years, she enjoyed doing crafts, playing BINGO, and watching movies—especially the Twilight series.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tracy, wife of Wayne Rohleder, of Manhattan, Kansas, Tina Blundred of Salina, Kansas; her son, Tony Norton of Gypsum, Kansas; and her brother, Robert, husband of Christine Carlton, of Arkansas.

Linda is also survived by her grandchildren, April Norton, Caitlyn Larson, Trinity Kaiser (Chase), Tristan Blundred, Madison Norton, Kaile Black, Chase Davis, and Brayson Young; as well as her great-grandchildren, Liam Munson, Kanden Norton, Paisley Norton, Quade West, Sterling Kaiser, and Preston Kaiser.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandchild, Sydnie Norton.

Cremation has been chosen, and a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 21, at Highland Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.

The family requests that donations be made to the Salina Family Healthcare Indigent Program, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
